100km Walk for Charity

Mike Beatty formed a team of 12 people who are going to walk 100 km for charity in just 24 hours in September this year.

The Thames Path Challenge will take place on 29th and 30th September 2012.

It will be a HUGE test of both physical and mental strength - typically only 40% of participants will complete this challenge within the target of 24 hours!

We aim to raise £15,000 as a group. The money we raise will be shared between 3 charities:

  • Edukid - a charity helping to educate and support vulnerable children in Asia and Africa
  • Amy Wallace Magpie Trust - a charity helping young cancer sufferers during their treatment and hospital stays
  • Motor Neurone Disease Association - a charity that promotes and funds research into the disease and supports people affected by MND
