Day 29

Walked 33 miles today and feel absolutely shattered, it doesn't help that I have the mother of all blisters on my heel! I have been contemplating when it would be a good time to burst it, (something I'm not looking forward to).
Ahh what a relief, did it! I've never seen a blister grow inside your skin before, i could feel the pressure throbbing inside my skin.... Anyway's enough! I have cut it open and have relieved the pain, just call me RAMBO!

Day 28

Walked 32.2 miles today and am now in a town called Hosten.  Unfortunately the campsite was closed for the season, but if luck would have it I found a room, very basic but it really does look inviting.

Had some lovely news today from our neighbours Denise and Steve who live opposite to us. They have a home in France also, rang me, and they are in France and invited me to go and stay with them on Wednesday evening, and Thursday. This was great news and now I am looking forward to seeing them on Wednesday evening after my usual jaunt ;-)

Am about to decide what to have for my dinner, I have packet chilli, packet chicken casserole or Pasta, If I don't eat another piece of pasta it wont be to soon! ;-( I am sick of Pasta....

Day 27

I am pleased to say that 'Doris' is stable, after wrapping twine round her spokes and lots of glue, she is now back to her reliable self, oh, yes, I do apologise if I haven't referred to my trolley as Doris before, but she is my baby ;-)
I walked 29 miles today and can honestly say that had to be the toughest day yet! (mentally and physically).

Got to a village called Blagon, although I didn't manage to see alot of it as I arrived in the dark. We camped in the local woods behind a service station, 5* in wasn't ;-)

I will be saying farewell to my friend Andy tomorrow, when he sets off home first thing in the morning. I would just like to say Thank you to Andy for joining me, we did laugh and he kept me going!  Thanks again for taking all the great photos and sending them to Myra ;-) We will most definitely be catching up when I get home. - Safe journey home Andy.
